Although the lead-acid battery is not the most recommended battery for this range of batteries, it is the type of battery most commonly used due to its economic factor. This type of battery will last for years if it is maintained properly and consistently. The lead-acid battery cannot be discharged empty or begins to damage the cells.
If the battery is discharged to less than 20%, it must be recharged immediately, otherwise, it will be unusable much faster. When the battery is completely discharged, it begins to accumulate sulfate in its plates and will not return to its normal capacity, so you do not want to discharge it to that extent.
Use only distilled water and do not refill the battery when the battery is charging only when the battery is fully charged and solar battery cost well charged. In short, you can store your batteries better inside and have more capacity than you should have in your home. The preferred battery for small and medium applications is the Trojan L-16 lead-acid battery.
